What are you reading Monday February 8, 2010

This meme has been moved to
One Person's Journey Through A World of Books!
I almost forgot to switch the picture and link.
Thanks Shelia for carrying this forward from J. Kaye.

I did a few more reviews this past week but I am still behind.  My plan to not read a night or two and concentrate on reviews didn't happen last week so maybe it will this week.

[Note re codes: YGR is You Gotta Read Reviews. MBS is this blog - Martha's BookShelf!]

Finished:

PB: The Masqueraders by Georgette Heyer.  This is the first Heyer book I have read in years. A son and daughter of a Jacobite rebel flee to London masquerading as the opposite sexes!  This was wonderful! Reviewing for Sourcebooks with review to be posted here at MBS this week.

Kindle2:  ------------

Audible: The Key by Pauline Baird Jones.  I have the print book but to speed this along I got the Audible to listen to!  A romance in a sci fi setting was very engaging - I didn't want to put it down!  Reviewing for the Author; review and giveaway to be posted at MBS.

Audio CD: --------------

Currently reading:

PB:  Saint Nick by Fred Tribuzzo.  This is a very short and different version of The Christmas Carol story with Black Elk as the Spirit Guide! Reviewing for Author Marketing Experts - to be posted here at MBS.

PB:  A Black Tie Affair by Sherrill Bodine. Looks like fun - toxic gowns, missing gowns and fiery passions between former "friends"! Reviewing for Hachette.

Kindle2:  Journey to Redemption Detective Morgan Reynolds thought her nightmare was over when serial killer Charles ‘The Slasher’ Tate was sent to prison for her husbands murder.  But she was wrong.  The Slasher has escaped and he’s making it even more personal this time.  Tate has kidnapped her son and is giving her 72 hours to find the answers he wants or Jared dies. Reading and reviewing for the Author.

Audio CD:  Absolute Power by David Baldacci.  This was Baldacci's first book back in 1996 - Political thriller.  I am on disc 5 on this.  Enjoying it! Reviewing for Hachette.

HI Hannah - Yes I will be reviewing it! I hope to get caught up on reviews this week but either way I will post a review on this shortly after I read this one. That way you can check it before the end of the contest time!
